We, of course, started the day at Powell’s Books and stayed to explore for quite a while.  Their collection on four floors is overwhelming and we left with a (new) tote bag full of books.  We moved to lunch at Deschutes Brewery and to watch the Iceland vs. France Euro 2016 game.  Unfortunate result but great run for Iceland — I love the Viking clapping and we need to import – by the way, if you haven’t watched the YouTube video on the celebration at Reyjavik when the team returned, you have to see – the best viewing of the Iceland chant!! also drove by Colin’s first apartment building in Portland, the Indigo and it still stands strong with its four windmills on the roof!
